CCT is a level of training designated to Paramedics and Registered Nurses who have successfully completed the West Virginia OEMS CCT program. The course introduces students to the critical care environment in a mobile setting. Students learn advanced pharmacology and proceedures necessary to provide an advanced level of care throughout the transport.

About CCT

West Virginca Critical Care Transport resource is a highly specialized but limited advanced transport services. A major advantage to the use of critical care medical transport services is the ability to provide care prior to and during transport at a highly advanced level. There are many instances in which the CCT services can actually provide more advanced treatment and care than the referring facility with advanced equipment, monitoring devices, pharmacological agents and skills.
