CCEMS – American Heart Association Award

CONGRATULATIONS!

I know you have heard a lot about the AHA that CCEMS has received. I wanted to take a moment and explain what this award represents.

Nearly 650 patient charts were reviewed with chest pain related symptoms. Of the true cardiac patients…over 90% of these patients received a 12-lead EKG!!
That is a phenomenal percentage…that means you are recognizing and treating these patients with the highest level of care. After true STEMI patients were identified, they were treated within the “time” criteria required by the American Heart Association standards. The “Silver Award” is the highest award that can be received for first-time applicants. There are only 4 other agencies in the state of West Virginia to receive the award.

The Administration of CCEMS would like to “thank you” all of you for your caring and dedication to the citizens of Cabell County. I know there are many appreciative families in our community. GREAT JOB!

With Gratitude,

Connie Priddy – MA,RN,MCCN
