Soon Cabell County EMS will be breaking ground on a new station to serve the Western portion of Huntington. The new station will be located in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue. The 1.4 million dollar project will be similar in design to the Mark E. King Memorial Station (Station 2) located on 343 Norway Avenue. This station will be the designated as 'Station 6' and should decrease response times to the neighborhoods in the west end and speed access to the western portions of Interstate 64.
Cabell County EMS is committed to providing the best EMS service to the people of Cabell County and City of Huntington. This will be the 6th EMS station over all, and the 4th to be built since 2001 for Cabell County EMS.
